Adobe CS6 Is Here

May 14, 2012

Adobe® has just release a new version of its software suite CS6. As always I am once again blown away by this new version of the Creative Suite from the start screen, the new user interface to the new functions and features added to each software in the package.

I give you my word that we’ll explore each one of those software in the following articles during the next few days. In the meantime what I wanted to share with you today is the wonderful options Adobe has in place to help you get your hands on the new software applications.

In this land of freedom, diversity of choices and foremost free sampling, I am used to giving everything a test drive first before committing to a purchase. With Adobe products,  you always have the option of downloading individual products for a 30 days free trial: Audition, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Flash Builder and more.

Of course if you want to save yourself some time, you can just order a DVD containing all the Creative Suite applications for just about $16 to cover shipping & handling fees. After your trial period expires you can then make an informed decision.

As far as the new CS6 is concerned, my mind was made up as soon as I received the news of its release. And this time I opted for the Creative Cloud  which gives me the full Adobe® CS 6 master suite for a monthly $29.99 or $49.99 for new customers. That’s right! For just about $360/Year you can use any software in the CS6 master collection, with all the updates and new additions.

The Adobe® Creative Cloud suite was made available on May 11, 2012. So I spent last week-end downloading and getting myself acquainted with the new applications. The first thing I notice is the new cool program start image for each application. The user interface has been “revisited” in most of the applications in the suite.

We’ll later explore each one of the new software applications mentioned above in the next series of posts. Don’t miss that trip.
